The Parent Program
Do you ever wish you could have a professional fly on the wall who could see how your kids really act at home and then help you change their behavior?
Do you feel like you have good kids but for some reason their behavior at home is not good?
Do you feel like you have tried everything but your kids still won’t listen to you?
At the end of the day are you exhausted from constantly trying to get your kids to behave, do what you ask of them, or be respectful?
Our Parent Program is here to help you and it is one of a kind.
The goals of The Parent Program are to:
Teach parents to better understand their children’s behavior
Provide coaching on techniques and strategies to promote positive behavior and improve interactions between parent and child
Provide recommendations on how to structure the home environment in order to decrease problem behavior
Provide emotional support to parents as they navigate challenging behavior and begin to implement consistent routines and systems
Educate parents about school-based services and/or assist in applying existing school-designed strategies to the home setting
Conduct basic screenings for symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity, anxiety, and/or depression in children
Provide referrals for follow-ups with other professionals (i.e., psychiatrists, counselors, ABA therapists)
The Parent Package: $400
Consultation: Includes an in-depth conversation in our office with a licensed therapist to gather background information, detail areas of concern(s), and set goals for moving forward
In-home observation: The therapist you consulted with will come to your home to observe your children and family during normal daily routines or during times of most concern.
Post-Observation Meeting: You will meet back in the office with your therapist to get an individualized plan for your family with insights, recommendations, effective strategies, and referrals provided if necessary
Add on hourly services available: $130 per hour
1:1 sessions with children for direct skill teaching (i.e., emotional/self-regulation, social skills, executive functioning skills)
Creation of additional tools (i.e., visuals and incentive systems)
Additional time in the home to further coach and model suggested strategies
Additional sessions to monitor progress and troubleshoot strategies and systems
Further consultation to promote a healthy partnership with child’s school
The thing that is so great about this program is that as a professional it is so much easier to help a child when we can see their behavior in an environment in which it is occurring. Children don’t often misbehave in our offices so observing them at home is a huge advantage.
Don’t spend another day pulling your hair out trying to get your child to behave and listen to you. Let our therapists make it easier for you and help you restore order and happiness to your family once again.
